Paul Martin, former presenter of Flog It!, Antiques Celebrity Road Trip, Britain’s Hidden Heritage, Countryfile Diaries, Make Me A Dealer, antique expert and owner of The Table Gallery, (Corsham, Wiltshire), will talk about his 20 year career in television, his passion for antiques and heritage, and the need to preserve endangered crafts.
Through his work as a former Patron of the Heritage Crafts Association of which HRH The Prince of Wales is President, Paul will discuss the renaissance of skills needed to keep crafts alive for the future.
Paul will discuss heritage, buildings, dying arts and the making of antiques past and present, providing a fascinating portal into history and transporting us back in time looking at how objects are made, how they document social history, the life of the makers, conditions of work, sourcing of materials and techniques of manufacture.

St. George's Guildhall

St George's Guildhall is the largest surviving medieval guildhall in England - boasting many original and rare medieval features. The first theatre production was in 1442 and was officially reopened after an ambitious restoration in 1951, marking the start of the first King’s Lynn Festival.
The nearest parking for the Guildhall is on the Tuesday Market Place or behind the Corn Exchange on Common Staithe Quay.
