In 2025 Lynn celebrates 20 years as a member of the New Hanseatic League which embraces 190 towns across northern Europe. To have been a member or significant trading partner of the German Hanse in Medieval Europe is the qualification to join. King’s Lynn (Bishop’s Lynn until 1537) was one such partner.
