Haydn Piano Trio in A
Beethoven Piano Trio in B flat "Archduke"
The Paddington Trio
Haydn was as much the father of the piano trio as of the symphony and this joyous trio is a typical example. Without this forerunner, Beethoven's monumental "Archduke" trio might never have existed. The Paddington Trio makes a welcome return to the festival following recent tours to Mexico, the Netherlands, Germany, and Canada, as well as appearances at Snape Maltings.
Tea, coffee, and cake are included in your ticket price, served from 10.30am.
