Half price tickets for under 25's

King's Lynn Festival aims to encourage a younger generation to enjoy and engage with culture, fostering a love of music and the arts. As part of our ambitions to open up our events to more young people during the 2023 Festival we are continuing to offer half-price tickets to all those under 25 years old to the majority of Festival promoted  events.

Alongside reduced ticket prices for under 25s there are a number of other events and activities to engage young people;

  • The Contemporary Consort will be visiting Fairstead Primary School ahead of their Festival performance at the Town Hall on Monday 17 July to provide a musical introduction to the sound of the cello and clarinet to the children.
  • On the final day of the Festival a whole host of family events take place in the Vancouver Quarter, including the chance to have a go at playing a piano and the opportunity to proivde the inspiration for your very own poem.
  • Audiences can discover unexpected delights as musicians pop-up in surprising venues in King's Lynn throughout the Festival. All of our pop-up events are free and do not require a ticket.
  • At the Festival exhibition, Blast to Blitz, there will be a worksheet available, aimed at GCSE and A-Level students to prompt further exploration of the subjects raised and artists on show.
