King’s Lynn Festival kick starts its 2026 Spring Series

King’s Lynn Festival is delighted to announce its Spring 2026 Concert Series, a curated programme of world-class music and expert-led talks designed to brighten the season.

From renowned artists to rising stars, the series presents a diverse programme of concerts and events in the heart of historic King’s Lynn.

Running from February to April, the Spring Series continues the Festival’s long-standing tradition of bringing high-calibre cultural experiences to West Norfolk. The ever-popular Coffee Concerts return, alongside a talk by notable historian Bendor Grosvenor and an evening Cocktail Concert with saxophone and harp duo.

The Spring 2026 Programme Includes:

Regency String Quartet
(Friday 6 February, 11.00am, King's Lynn Town Hall)
The first of the Coffee Concerts opens the series featuring the prize-winning London-based Regency String Quartet in a compelling cross-century musical dialogue. 

Ariel Lanyi, Piano
(Friday 27 February, 11.00am, King's Lynn Town Hall)
Acclaimed pianist and former Leeds International Piano Competition finalist Ariel Lanyi brings his virtuosity and poetic insight to the King’s Lynn stage.

Talk: Bendor Grosvenor on "The Invention of British Art"
(Thursday 19 March,
7.00pm, King's Lynn Town Hall)
Noted art historian and broadcaster Bendor Grosvenor (BBC’s Britain's Lost Masterpieces) explores the fascinating evolution of British art in what promises to be an engaging and revelatory evening.

Trio Havisham
(Friday 27 March, 11.00am, King's Lynn Town Hall)
Having recently appeared at the Wigmore Hall and with several accolades to their name, Trio Havisham perform a duo of trios from composers synonymous with the form. 

Cocktail Concert: Huw Wiggin (Saxophone) & Oliver Wass (Harp)
(Thursday 9 April, 6.30pm, King's Lynn Town Hall)
In the first Cocktail Concert enjoy the unusual but compelling combination of saxophone and harp, including music by Ludovico Einaudi.

Young Musicians’ Showcase
(Sunday 19 April, 3.00pm, All Saints' Church)
 
Following its previous success, this showcase celebrates and encourages some of King’s Lynn’s most promising young talent as we welcome to the concert platform musicians across a range of ages and instruments from local schools and colleges.
