
Ambrose Miller
Artistic Director
Ambrose Miller read music at Cambridge and London universities, studying composition concurrently at the Royal College of Music where his Woodwind Quintet won the Cobbett Prize. He was a viola player in the Royal Ballet Orchestra and subsequently its manager. He founded the European Union Chamber Orchestra which, between 1991 and 2011 with support from the European Commission, toured in 73 countries. He was Artistic Director of the Stratford on Avon Music Festival and remains a curator of various chamber and orchestral music series.

Ben Horden
Festival Manager
Ben is a versatile classical music professional, balancing arts management with a freelance career as a conductor and keyboardist.
As Festival Manager of King’s Lynn Festival, he oversees administrative, strategic, and artistic planning and delivery. He joined the Festival from James Brown Management where he worked as an Artist Manager, providing high level creative, operational, and administrative support to conductors and instrumentalists of international renown.
He is Music Director of King’s Lynn Festival Chorus, whose recent highlights include Bach’s Mass in B minor, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and a semi-staged performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera, Trial by Jury.
With an early career shaped by church music, he is an MA graduate of The University of York where his studies focused on historically informed performance.
