The Le Strange family in Hunstanton not only kept detailed accounts documenting their family life but also had as their family composer John Jenkins, one of the most remarkable English composers of the early 17th century, who was active across Norfolk.
Local historian Alison Gifford will give a 20-minute talk on the lives of the family through their accounts followed by an hour-long concert of music they would have heard and played themselves.
