Telemann Fantasia in D minor
Saint-Saens Ad libitum - Allegretto from Sonata for Oboe and Piano

 

This online cocktail concert opens with a solo work by Telemann and is followed by a movement from Saint-Saens Sonata for oboe and piano, both showcasing the distinctive timbre and versatility of the oboe.

 

This online concert will be premiered on King's Lynn Festival's YouTube channel at 6pm on Thursday 24 June and will then be available for you to watch at your leisure.

The concert was filmed at King's Lynn's Minster in May 2021, thanks to generous support from DCMS's Culture Recovery Fund.


About the Performers
Hannah Condliffe won the prestigious Munster Trust Neil Black Prize in 2019 and is on the Countess of Munster Trust Recital Scheme. Hannah plays with the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Philharmonia Orchestra.  Dominic Doutney is a winner of the Royal Overseas League Keyboard Award. He studied at the Royal College of Music and recently performed Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Leipziger Symphonieorchester in the city's famous Gewandhaus.
