Bollywood Brass Band is the UK’s pioneering Indian-style brass band, playing the great tunes and compulsively danceable rhythms of Bollywood.

Twice nominated for Songlines World Music Awards, the band has performed all over the world–in venues, at festivals, and for Indian weddings in the UK, Norway, India, Thailand and South Africa. With brass, saxophone, dhol drums and a colossal sousaphone, the Bollywood Brass Band is one of the most colourful, joyful and exhilarating acts around.

In this performance they celebrate the centenary of the first Bollywood film, taking you on a fascinating journey from Bollywood’s musical beginnings, through its Golden Age in the 1950’s, the funky 1970s up to the present day.

Bollywood Brass Band will also be hosting a dance workshop, prior to the performance. Book both the performance and workshop at the same time and get £5 off - you will need to call the box office to book both at the same time and claim the discount.
