Adventure on the High Seas – without getting wet!

This year’s opening day of King’s Lynn Festival’s Winter Season will have a distinctly salty flavour.  On Tuesday 21 October at 2.30pm, the King’s Lynn Community Cinema Club in association with the festival invite you to take your seat (and hold onto it!) for Robert Redford’s incredible solo sailing film “All is Lost”.  Then, at 7.30pm, real-life adventurer and zero waste champion Emily Penn presents an inspiring illustrated talk, sharing her insights on how remote island communities in the Pacific are adapting to their changing world, and how tackling global issues on an island scale can help us see solutions to problems in our own society.
