2023 Festival about to begin...

The wait is almost over as King's Lynn Festival 2023 begins this weekend. And what a busy two weeks we have in store with international classical music stars, TV personalities, folk, jazz, talks, walks and exhibitions.

On Saturday 15th July, the 2023 Festival exhibition opens. Blast to Blitz, in conjunction with Goldmark, explores the output of English artists who expressed the dynamism of the world they saw around them during and between the wars. There are also a number of events associated with the Festival exhibition in the opening days of the Festival including film Drawn to War, and a talk with art historian and biographer Frances Spalding, entitled The Real and the Romantic.

On Sunday 16th July, the Festival's live performance programme begins with Black Dyke Band providing a rousing fanfare to the fortnight of events. We look forward to welcoming audiences from near and far to this year's King's Lynn Festival.
