King’s Lynn Festival awarded grant from Government’s Culture Recovery Fund

We are pleased to announce we have received funding from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund through Arts Council England. In these challenging times this funding has come at a pivotal moment for King’s Lynn Festival and will help us to look ahead to the spring and summer, helping us recover after the turmoil and uncertainty of the last year, and giving a much-needed boost to our planning over the next few months.

Alison Croose, Chair of King’s Lynn Festival said:
“This generous grant is much-appreciated and will help us to cover our operating costs for the next three months, and to support the production of a second series of on-line concerts in the build-up to the annual festival planned for July 18-31.

It will also help us to recover some of the losses incurred during a year of lockdown: but will not cover any direct costs of staging the July festival and other activities over the next nine months. These will continue to rely on the involvement and generosity of our regular grant funders, sponsors, volunteers and supporters.”
