A Beginners Guide to the Pipe Organ: Talk and Recital
Friday 12 October 2018
As part of King's Lynn Festival Extra
A talk and demonstration of the recently-renovated historic Henry Willis organ by Peter Godden, a local organ expert and organist. The pipe organ is the largest of all musical instruments, and the famous acoustic of the chapel helps produce an incredible, almost electronic, sound from their Victorian masterpiece.
