Schools Concert: European Union Chamber Orchestra
Thursday 21 May 2020
The EUCO gave its first concerts in 1981 and soon gained an international reputation as a musical ambassador for the European Union. Funding from the European Commission enabled its name to become familiar worldwide with tours to East Asia, India, North, South and Central America, North Africa and the Middle East as well as all across Europe. It regularly performs in major concert halls throughout the UK and has broadcast several times live on BBC Radio 3. Recent highlights include tours with rising-star Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Nikolai Demidenko, Tasmin Little and Peter Donohoe.
A schools performance open to all and featuring young musicians, more info to come soon!
