Talk: Gillian Burke - On the road with The Watches

BBC Springwatch presenter Gillian Burke will give a behind-the-scenes look at of one of the nation’s most loved wildlife programmes.

Gillian will take the audience on a tour of conservation projects around the UK, from rare ladybird spiders in Dorset to beaver re-introduction projects in Cornwall, focusing on some of the most uplifting examples she has come across whilst filming. 
 
At a time when news about environmental issues can seem overwhelming, join us for an evening of inspiration about these surprising oases of hope.

St George's Guildhall is the largest surviving medieval guildhall in England - boasting many original and rare medieval features. The first theatre production was in 1442 and was officially reopened after an ambitious restoration in 1951, marking the start of the first King’s Lynn Festival.
