The Festival needs a team of around 70 volunteers to help deliver the events during July, and we would like to thank all those who generously support us with their time - we wouldn’t be able to function without all the hours of enthusiasm, goodwill and dedication our volunteers give.
There are always plenty of opportunities to volunteer in a variety of roles and particularly during the Festival itself. You could be working in many different roles ranging from stewarding events, selling programmes and merchandise, assisting an Event Manager, marketing and more…
- If you are free during the two-week period of the Festival, why not become a steward? We also run a small scale year-round programme which requires stewards.
- You could help make tea and coffee for our orchestras backstage, getting a possible sneak peak preview at their rehearsal.
- If you live in King’s Lynn and have a spare room, perhaps you could offer hospitality accommodation to some of our visiting artists.
- We welcome offers of help with marketing; by putting up posters or distributing brochures in your area -you could provide valuable help.
Volunteering for the Festival is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a high profile arts festival, give something back to the community, see what it’s like to work behind the scenes, meet new people and gain new skills. Even if you are only able to offer a few hours of your time we would like to hear from you.
We are looking for people who are a positive and enthusiastic attitude about the Festival, who are responsible, reliable and punctual with good communication skills and a friendly nature.
