Coffee Concert Change Announced

Yuanfan Yang has unfortunately had to withdraw from his performance in this year’s Festival as he has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Cleveland International Piano Competition in the USA which clashes with his proposed concert.  Obviously we did not wish to deny this young performer such a fantastic opportunity, so he has been replaced by British pianist Maria Marchant.

Maria’s programme will be Beethoven Sonata Op. 27 No. 2 ‘Moonlight’; Debussy Suite Bergamasque; Schubert/Liszt Schwanengesang; Liszt Ballade in B minor.  Maria Marchant gave her Wigmore Hall and Southbank debuts in 2010 to critical acclaim after being selected as a young artist on the Concordia Foundation, Park Lane Group and Tillett Trust schemes.  Since then, she has been much in demand as recitalist and has performed in numerous festivals, although this is her first time performing in King's Lynn.   Tickets are still available for this concert.

The concert will still start at 11am and run for an hour in the Town Hall, with tea/coffee and cake served from 10.30am.

The Festival Office have been busy contacting existing ticket holders who are able to transfer their ticket to this new event or receive a refund.
