Friends of the Festival

For more than 60 years the King’s Lynn Festival has been attracting top names from the worlds of music, arts and entertainment. It also prides itself in introducing talented younger artists to the town, many of whom are fast establishing a reputation in the classical music world.

If you would like to help us continue this tradition of excellence please consider becoming a Festival Friend or a Private Patron.

Festival Friends make an annual donation of £30 (individual) or £50 (couple) and in return for their support they receive:

• Advance details of Festival events
• Exclusive priority booking period for Festival events (very occasionally we have to limit the number of tickets available to Friends during the priority period but you will always be able to apply for at least two tickets for each event)
• Membership card
• Discount at a number of local restaurants during the Festival
• Invitation to join us at exclusive events throughout the year including special walks and outings.

Private Patrons make an annual donation of £80 (individual) or £100 (couple) and receive the same benefits as Friends and in addition will be credited as collective sponsors of an event for which they will also be entitled to buy discounted tickets.

Gift aid
If you pay income tax you can significantly increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid allows us to claim back 25p for every £1 you give to us, boosting the value of your donation by a quarter. All we need from you is permission to reclaim the tax you have paid to HMRC and we’ll do the rest. Higher rate taxpayers can claim further relief via their own tax return.

Giving through your Self-Assessment return
If you complete a Self-Assessment tax return you are now able to nominate a charity to receive all or part of any repayment due to you. If you would like to nominate King’s Lynn Festival to receive your tax repayments as a donation you will need to enter our unique code on your tax return. The Code is AAJ57SG.

Legacies
You can make a lasting contribution to the future by leaving a legacy to the King’s Lynn Festival.

Get Involved
We welcome volunteers to help with many aspects of the Festival. It you are free during the two-week period of the Festival, why not become a steward. If you live in King’s Lynn and have a spare room, perhaps you could offer hospitality to some of our visiting artists. We welcome offers of help with marketing; by putting up posters or distributing brochures in your area you could provide valuable help.
