Rare John Piper prints for sale

There are just 6 prints left for sale of John Piper's specially-commissioned work for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother depicting Sandringham House.  The prints bear a striking resemblance to the lively drawing in pencil, pen and ink, wax resist, indian ink, bodycolour and coloured chalks that the artist presented to Queen Elizabeth in 1970, and which remains in the Royal Collection (Ref RCIN 453454).

The prints were used as the cover for commemorative concert programmes for a birthday concert in 1970 at Sandringham House, featuring Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, in honour of the Festival's Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

Each of the mounted prints comes with an original concert programme, and can be purchased for £95 including P&P to a UK address.

Prints are not numbered, but as far as we know, unless anyone has kept their concert programme in pristine condition for the last 48 years, we have the only stock available!  A real piece of musical and royal history.

Please call the Festival Office on 01553 767557 for further details.
