Box office opening dates

Booking for the 70th King's Lynn Festival will open to the general public on Monday, May 4 when our box office can be contacted on 01553 764864.

If you want to beat the rush and would like the chance to book tickets earlier so you can ensure you get to see your favourite performances, then become a friend, patron or sponsor and the box office will be open to you up to a fortnight ahead of the public dates.

The early-booking privilege is just one of a number of benefits you receive when taking part in any of our supporters' packages for the festival. Membership cards, for example, afford discounts at participating local businesses during the festival and invitations to exclusive events throughout the year.

Our 70th Festival is packed with events from the Past Times, New Horizons exhibition to our popular Coffee Concerts along with internationally renowned performers including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Academy of Ancient Music.

An early piece by the famous artist J.M.W. Turner, Walton Bridges, will be on display at the King's Lynn Museum throughout. It will be the first stop on a tour of East Anglia for the picture which was acquired by the Norfolk Museums Service last year.

The Festival Exhibition - Past Times, New Horizons - will feature pictures, artists and artefacts from our long history and will take pride of place in the Fermoy Gallery. A recently restored portrait of our founder Ruth, Lady Fermoy, by Thomas Anthony Devas, will be the centrepiece of the exhibition.
