The son of perhaps the final great baroque composer JS Bach, CPE Bach looked to the new rococo and classical and was revolutionary in is writing and famous for his dramatic improvisations.  Charles Burney visited him and records a remarkable evening when he was entertained the Bach’s clavichord playing.

Julian Perkins is the Artistic Director of Cambridge Handel Opera and Sounds Baroque.  His ‘exuberantly stylish’ (Sunday Times) playing will ensure an enjoyable early evening concert in the wonderful setting of King's Lynn's oldest church.
