School Exhibition: Up Town St Michael's Church of England Academy

Friday 12 October 2018 - Saturday 03 November 2018

11am to 4pm daily • Red Barn

Taking inspiration from local history and the beautiful paintings as part of the "PLACE" exhibition, St Michael's Church of England Academy will be creating their own artistic responses to the place where they live, to show King's Lynn is the place to be.
Pupils were inspired by the cultural heritage on their doorsteps: King's Lynn's buildings; museums; and historic characters. The pupils' studies included themes such as the impact of floods and flooding on our town over time; Frederick Savage's influence on the annual Mart; the importance of the Mayoralty to our town; and recognition of the achievements of a number of Norfolk's historic heroes

Exhibition showed daily in the Red Barn, St George's Courtyard from 11am to 4pm
