Celebrate more than 1000 years of the town’s rich history with a special Festival walk.

Robert Walpole was MP for the town for 40 years (1702-42) and became Britain's first Prime Minister in the 1720s when he rebuilt Houghton Hall. Lynn was in the premier league of English towns and ports before 1742 and its merchant rulers provided Sir Robert with an impressive power base. The walk will highlight the people and places with which he was familiar. Meet Paul Richards outside Stories of Lynn.

Note: If walks are oversubscribed preference will be given to advance ticket holders.

Event organised by King's Lynn Town Guides.
