St Nicholas’ Chapel has been an important venue for King’s Lynn Festival throughout the event’s 65-year history.  With its nationally-acclaimed acoustic the chapel has provided the setting for many memorable concerts over the years.

Now that the major repair and conversion work at the chapel is complete the Festival can return to its spiritual home and enjoy its improved facilities as a concert venue.

To mark the milestone of the re-opening the Festival is to stage the first major concert in the new phase of the chapel’s history.

The exciting brass music of the world-renowned Fairey Band will be a special Festival event including a celebratory fanfare specially written by up-and-coming East Anglian composer, Tim Watts.

The concert will also launch a new season Festival concerts and talks through the winter months.
