Following the sell-out walk on 26 June, Dr. Paul Richards has kindly agreed to host a further walk on 3 July with proceeds going to the King’s Lynn Festival.

In 2015 Lynn celebrates 10 years as a member of the New Hanseatic League founded in 1980.  Its 183 towns have a population of 25 million across 16 nations in nothern Europe, but all share a Hanseatic heritage.  The only English members are King's Lynn and Hull.

This walk aims to raise awareness and appreciation of Lynn's fascinating Hanseatic heritage.  Its origins are to be found in the 14th and 15th centuries when the Norfolk port was a prominent English partner of the German Hanse whose head cities were Lübeck and Hamburg.

The tour will finish at around 7.30pm with a glass of wine and a short tour of the Hanse House.

Please note this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
